Director

Dominique is a strategist, facilitator, and human-centered leader with over a decade of experience driving organizational and community growth with justice at the center. She has a knack for translating vision and values into action and excels in cultivating collaborative environments. Her approach blends strategic foresight with a compassionate understanding of human dynamics, enabling her to craft strategies that resonate deeply with the communities and organizations she serves.

Dominique has played a critical role in steering philanthropic institutions toward significant transformation throughout her career. At the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), she led the design and launch of the CZI Community Fund, deepening the organization’s impact in the Bay Area and laying the groundwork for equitable grantmaking practice across the institution. Dominique took on a lead role in supporting the organization through the racial unrest of the summer of 2020 by spearheading the inaugural organizational-wide DEI learning series, facilitating the co-design of CZI’s racial equity and DEI grantmaking framework, and leading the cross-functional Racial Equity Working Group. Additionally, she was an advisor to the COO and VP of DEI in designing and implementing the org-wide equity and inclusion strategy.

Before her time at CZI, Dominique managed grantmaking and program operations for the US Democracy program at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. She also supported a national network of over 80 philanthropic organizations advancing health equity across the US at PolicyLink.

Beyond her role at Frontline, Dominique is on the founding team of Project Veronica, which supports Black, Indigenous, and other women of color at the forefront of social change. In her free time, Dominique loves spending time with her family and friends and exploring her home region of the San Francisco Bay Area. Whether taking an acting class, organizing community events, or serving as business manager for her social club – she loves connecting with the world around her and immersing herself in activities that promote personal growth and communal connection.
